Q: 1) How do I install the Viewer onto my site?

A: In a nutshell, you create a directory on your web server, upload some files and insert a html snippet into your web page. It is best to refer to our FAQ/ installation section to find a detailed and explicit outline of how to do it.

Q: 2) What type of cost are we looking at?

A: That depends on a few key variables. One is the size and weight of the object. Heaver or bigger the objects cost more then smaller or lighter ones. Likewise, very small objects cost a bit more because they are more difficult to work with. The second variable to cost is smoothness and degree of rotation. Cost increase with the more an object rotates or the smoother the rotation. The third variable is the time it takes to for delivery. Emergency is the most expensive with economy the least. Q: 3) What are the different options to choose from?

A: The different options to chose from include, degree of rotation, smoothness of rotation, resolution, use of 3d models or real life objects and finally, animated effects. For more details visit the New Object form.

Q: 4) How long will it take before my object is displayed?

A: It depends on the connection speed, but typically less than 2 seconds.

Q: 5) Will this work with my shopping cart software?

A: Yes. The 3DRotator product viewer and object data are installed on your company's website and are hosted by your server, giving you complete control.

Q: 6) Will this work with a database website?

A: Yes. You only need one free user defined field to copy and past the code snippet into. Now you�re ready for action.

Q: 7) What do I need to get my object rotating on line?

A: First, you go to the Orders page and click the �New� tab. This will enable you to register (see under the login box).

Once you have registered you will be forwarded to the new object form.

Fill in the order form to get an instant quotation and see how different options affect the price.

Send us your object to be digitized.

Once your object has been digitized, you will be notified by email to review it. After acceptance, and payment, you will be given a password and a link to download the files.

Now all you have to do is place the 3DRotator Viewer into you web page and copy the files onto you server.

Visitors to your site that use Netscape, Internet Explorer, Opera, FireFox, Safari, or any other Java compliant web browser do not need to download or install any software to view your product. In the rare case that Java is not available or enabled then a static photograph of your product can be shown in place of the 3DRotator viewer with a message to let the user know how to enable java.

Q: 8) How do I make it work with FrontPage or other wysiwyg programs?

A: Follow the instructions outlined in the �Installation� section. When you paste the HTML code, you must insert it using the Insert menu/advanced/html.

Q: 9) Where are all the files stored?

A: The files are stored in a special subdirectory you must create in the root directory of your website named "rotatorcode" (example www.yoursite.com/rotatorcode/).

Q: 10) What is the turnaround time to get one object done?

A: It depends on our current work load. When you fill out your order form you can stipulate how quickly you would like to your 3DRotator Viewer.

Q: 11) Can we set up an account or do we have to pay right away?

A: Email our sales team to talk about setting up an account. Please note, setting up an account will take time and paperwork and authorization is not guaranteed. So, if you are in a hurry credit card is probably a better choice.

Q: 12) What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept MasterCard, Visa and business cheques.

Q: 13) What is the expected ROI for implementing this technology?

A: Increased customer satisfaction, a happy customer means a returning customer. Being one step ahead of the competition.

Q: 14) What kind of load will this have on my web server?

A: The highly optimized Viewer code loads only once, similar to a graphic on your first page, and is compressed to a speedy 46 KBytes in size. The size of your objects data depends on the options chosen and is typically 200KB to 450KB for 240 different views. Each time a user rotates and pauses a 60KB high resolution data file is downloaded to provide super crisp zooms.

Q: 15) What other options do you offer with your applets?

A: Your creative team has the opportunity to integrate the 3DRotator product viewer seamlessly into your company's Brand Image and website "feel".

Your design team may:

Enable or Disable the demo mode at start up
Specify your Product's initial Viewing Angle, Zoom Level, and Center Position
Replace the 3DRotator button graphics with your own
Add a boarder/graphic inside the 3DRotator viewing area
Show a custom message when the Help Button is pressed

Q: 16) Will the 3DRotator technology work on any server (ie unix/apache, widows,)?

A: Yes, our 3DRotator Viewer is designed to work on any type of server. Just remember that unix/apache is case sensitive, therefore you must be conscious of how you use capital letters in naming your files/directories.

Q: 17) How do my retailers get the applet to work on their site?

A: Your customers get the applet to work on their site by using the same methods outlined in the FAQ/installation section.

Q: 18) Can you rotate any object?

A: Currently, objects up to the size of a wheelchair can be digitized. From earrings, sculptures, small machinery, tools, instruments, fittings, ornaments, to toys. We are continuously increasing our digitize capacity, if you have a very, very tiny or a very large object please give us a call.
