How to Enable Java and JavaScript

The Java(TM) Platform is FREE and can be download from the Java website
        http://www.java.com/getjava


If you already have Java installed then you just need to enable it for your browser below

Symptom: The message "Enable Java to zoom in and rotate this object" is shown.

  • Cure: Go into the security settings of your browser and enable Java (javascript is not the same thing). Java may be "enabled" for all websites on the internet or only those in your trusted sites list. See the browser's help file for details.

Internet Explorer 7.0 Installing Java

1) If you see either one of the following pop-ups, Click on it and "Install Active-X Control" or "Install Java".

       OR


OR        manually download Free Java from the Java Sun website




2) Click the Back button and then Refresh button to reload the page.

Internet Explorer 7.0 Enabling Java

1) From the browser's top menu, Click on Tools then Manage Add-ons then Enable or Disable Add-ons...
2) In the Pop-up window, Click on SSVHelper Class then click Enable at bottom
                                  Also, Click on Sun Java Console then click Enable at bottom, then the OK button





3) Click the Back button and then Refresh button to reload the page.





Now enjoy fully experiencing objects online with 3DRotator technology...

Netscape 8.1

1) Click the icon in the lower left corner of the browser then Show Site Controls





2) Select (with one click) I'm Not Sure or I Trust This Site
    ("I'm Not Sure" will enable java for all websites, if you are very concerned about security choose "I Trust This Site")
3) Make sure Enable Java has a check mark beside it.


                                                            If you are unable to "Tick" Enable Java then look at the upper right corner of the browser
                                                            Click on Install Missing Plugins or click here to download Java for free
                                                           




4) If you choose the "I Trust This Site" method check Enable Java then also click Add Site





5) Now enter the name of the site you are visiting. (In this example we entered 3drotator.com)
6) Select "Initial Trust Setting:" as I Trust This Site then click Add Site





7) Click the OK button To close the Site Contol Dialog Box



8) Click the Refresh button to reload the page.





Now enjoy fully experiencing objects online with 3DRotator technology...

Opera 9.22 and 8.54

1) Click the Tools icon in the top menu of the browser then Quick preferences
Ensure that Java has a check mark to the left as shown. (if not then click on it)





2) Click the Refresh button To reload the page

FireFox 2.0 and 1.5

1) Click the Tools icon in the top menu of the browser then Options





2) Click the Content Tab and Ensure that Enable Java has a check mark to the left as shown. (if not then click on it)





3) Click the Refresh button To reload the page

FireFox 12.0 to 3.0

1) Click the Tools icon in the top menu of the browser then Add-ons.
2) Click the Plugins tab on the left, Scroll down to find Java(TM) PLATFORM then Click the Enable button.
     if Java(TM) Platform is not listed, get the FREE download from the Java website     http://www.java.com/getjava





if you want to keep using the previous version of java you have now then look for it in the Extensions tab.



3) Click the Back and Refresh buttons To reload the page

Chrome 19.0

1) Click the Update Plug-in button at the top menu of the browser



2) Click the Back and Refresh buttons To reload the page

3) If you are still having trouble installing Java for Chrome then use Java 1.6.0 by uninstalling Java 1.7 (10.0.1.4)




4) Remove the reference to "Java Deployment 10.0.1.4" in MozillaPlugins (yes, Chrome uses mozilla)
Click Start button then run then type Regedit
Click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then SOFTWARE then MozillaPlugins then delete @java.com Deployment 10.0.1.4 (10.0.1.4 is Java 1.7.0)
Make sure you have Java 1.6.0 installed by looking for @java.com/JavaPlugin showing version 1.6.0_32 or greater

Flock 1.1

1) Click the Tools icon in the top menu of the browser
2) Click Options
3) Click the Content Tab
4) Ensure that Enable Java has a check mark to the left as shown. (if not then click on it)

Trouble Shooting
How to Enable JavaScript

Symptom: The message "Enable JavaScript to zoom in and rotate this object" is shown.

  • Cure: Go into the security settings of your browser and enable JavaScript (Java is not the same thing). JavaScript may be "enabled" for all websites on the internet or only those in your trusted sites list. See the browser's help file for details.

Internet Explorer 7.0 Enabling JavaScript (SIMPLE)

1) From the browser's top menu, Click on Tools then Internet Options
2) Click on the Security tab
3) Select (with one click) Internet or Trusted Sites
    (Internet will enable java for all websites, if you are concerned about security choose Trusted Sites)
4) Then Click Default Level
5) Move the Slider to the Middle Position so it reads Medium-high





If you selected Internet in step 3) then
             Click on OK then the Refresh button and you can now use the 3DRotator viewer or enable JAVA





6) If you selected Trusted sites in step 3) then Ensure that Default Level and Medium-high are selected
7) Click on the Sites button





8) Enter a website address that you trust such as www.3drotator.com
9) Click the Add button, then enter another website you trust.
10) When complete, click OK





11) Click on OK again and you can now use the 3DRotator viewer on these websites
Additional Trusted Sites may be added in the future by following steps 8 to 12



12) Click the Refresh button to reload the page.





Now enjoy fully experiencing objects online with 3DRotator technology...





Internet Explorer 7.0 Enabling JavaScript (ADVANCED)

1) From the browser's top menu, Click on Tools then Internet Options





2) Click on the Security tab
3) Select (with one click) Internet or Trusted Sites
    (Internet will enable java for all websites, if you are concerned about security choose Trusted Sites)
4) Then Click Custom Level





5) Scroll Almost all of the way down to find Active Scripting
6) Click on Enable or anything other than disable
7) Click OK





If you selected Internet in step 3) then
             Click on OK then the Refresh button and you can now use the 3DRotator viewer

Otherwise, If you selected Trusted Sites in step 3) then continue to step 8) Just one below

             Now Just Click the Refresh button to reload the page.





8) Ensure that Trusted Sites is selected (one click)
9) Click on the Sites button





10) Enter a website address that you trust such as www.3drotator.com
11) Click the Add button, then enter another website you trust.
12) When complete, click OK





13) Click on OK again and you can now use the 3DRotator viewer on these websites
Additional Trusted Sites may be added in the future by following steps 8 to 12



14) Click the Refresh button to reload the page.





Now enjoy fully experiencing objects online with 3DRotator technology...
